MINSTER LOCAL SCHOOLS TREASURER REPORT

1. The Southwest Ohio EPC with whom we participate for natural gas is extending the gas contract for fiscal year 2018. This fiscal year to date, we have saved $11,754 on gas—using actual usage from last year, the current vendor of Direct Energy is costing us $4.53 per unit whereas the past vendor would have cost $6.00 per unit. 2. This month I need to renew the workers’ compensation program for group rating for 2017. I am signing to stay with Compmanagement as they have the lowest rate .309 per $100 of payroll. My other quotes were from Sheakley.3212 per $100 of payroll and .32 per $100 of payroll with the EPC. 3. Below is the updated flow chart of deadlines to be on the November 8, 2016 ballot:

To meet all deadlines, I recommend the Board take action to pass 1st resolution in June. Then resolution to proceed in July.
