UCPEA EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING Minutes January 22, 2015 Attendees – Ken Best, Steve Grigoreas, Peter Morenus, Lisa Pane, Angela Rola, Gisele Russo, Kathy Sanner, and Mike White Guests – Elizabeth Sullivan 1. Call to Order – The meeting was called to order by President Sanner at 12:00pm 2. Acceptance of Minutes of December 4, and 18, 2014 - The motion to accept the minutes was made and seconded. Motion carried. 3. Additions to Agenda 1. Parking Fees-Question from AVPT regarding free parking option. 2. Review of Field Representative Applications-CV’s distributed with plans to review in special meeting 1/27. 3. AFT Jurisdictional Vice President-Steve Grigoreas moved to nominate Chuck Morrell to serve, seconded by Peter Morenus. Motion carried. 4. New & Future Business: 1. UCPEA Candidate Forum-to follow last forum format; held in late March 2. UCPEA Fair-Same day as Annual Meeting in May; snacks and vendors 3. Board Meeting Schedule-Every two weeks until February budget address, then weekly. 4. Appoint Nominating Committee- Kathy Sanner moved to have Lisa Pane and Angela Rola serve as the committee, seconded by Mike White. Motion carried. 5. CBL- Membership Meeting March 10 SU Theatre-Constitution updates 6. California Pensions-petition shared for signing 7. Communications Report-Discussed strategy and timing. 5. Old Business: 1. UCPEA Staffing-Kathy Sanner moved to allow Chuck Morrell to help in the office for up to 4 weeks at 14 hours/week for $22/hour-all details or decision up to Elizabeth Sullivan, seconded by Mike White. Motion carried. 2. SEBAC Update-Roland lawsuit moving forward; medical RFP out to bid; APR/Hybrid and moving forward date discussion. 6. Reports: 1. President’s Report – Sexual harassment training noncompliant members discussion; Law School holiday party update. 2. Staff Reports – 

Sullivan – Open cases; Lobbying Audit update.

White – Mike White moved that Chris Dahl be a member of the Reclassification project, seconded by Peter Morenus. Motion carried. HRA negotiations update; Professional Employee Evaluation 2016 planning committee update.
