Light earthy or spicy hop nose, along with a lightly sweet Pils malt character. Shows a subtle yeast character that may include spicy phenolics, perfumy or honey-like alcohol, or yeasty, fruity esters (commonly orange-like or lemony). Light sweetness that may have a slightly sugar-like character. Subtle yet complex.

Light to deep gold color. Generally very clear. Large, dense, and creamy white to off-white head. Good head retention with Belgian lace.

Smooth, light to moderate Pils malt sweetness initially, but finishes medium-dry to dry with some smooth alcohol becoming evident in the aftertaste. Medium hop and alcohol bitterness to balance. Light hop flavor, can be spicy or earthy. Very soft yeast character (esters and alcohols, which are sometimes perfumy or orange/lemon-like). Light spicy phenolics optional. Some lightly caramelized sugar or honey-like sweetness on palate.

Medium-high to high carbonation, can give mouthfilling bubbly sensation. Medium body. Light to moderate alcohol warmth, but smooth. Can be somewhat creamy.

Aromes de llúpol lleugeres, entre terroses i especiades, amb un caràcter dolcet de malt Pils. Mostra un caràcter de llevat subtil que pot incloure fenols especiats, perfumat o alcohol similar a la mel o llevat, èsters fruitats (comú en taronja o llimona). Lleugera dolçor que pot tenir un caràcter similar al sucre. Subtil però complex.

Daurat, entre lleuger i profund. En general molt transparent. Cap d'escuma generós, dens i cremós, de color blanc trencat. Bona retenció i formació d'adherències.

Suau dolçor de malt Pils, entre lleugera i moderada al principi, però s'acaba entre mig sec i sec amb notes suaus d'alcohol fent-se evidents en el rere-gust. Equilibri mitjà entre alcohol i amargor. Aromes de llúpol lleugeres; poden ser terroses o especiades. Caràcter de llevat molt suau (els èsters i els alcohols poden aportar perfums de taronja o de llimona). Lleugers fenols especiats opcionals. Alguna dolçor suau de sucre caramel·litzat o de mel al paladar.

Carbonatació entre mig-alta i alta que pot donar una sensació «omplidora» relacionada amb les bombolles. Cos mitjà. Escalfor de l'alcohol de lleugera a moderada però suau. Pot ser una mica cremosa.

A moderate-strength golden ale that has a subtle Belgian complexity, slightly sweet flavor, and dry finish.

Relatively recent development to further appeal to European Pils drinkers, becoming more popular as it is widely marketed and distributed.

Similar strength as a dubbel, similar character as a Belgian Strong Golden Ale or Tripel, although a bit sweeter and not as bitter. Often has an almost lagerlike character, which gives it a cleaner profile in comparison to the other styles. Belgians use the term “Blond,” while the French spell it “Blonde.” Most commercial examples are in the 6.5 – 7% ABV range. Many Trappist table beers (singles or Enkels) are called “Blond” but these are not representative of this style.

Belgian Pils malt, aromatic malts, sugar, Belgian yeast strains that produce complex alcohol, phenolics and perfumy esters, noble, Styrian Goldings or East Kent Goldings hops. No spices are traditionally used, although the ingredients and fermentation by-products may give an impression of spicing (often reminiscent of oranges or lemons).

Una Ale daurada de mitjana força que presenta una complexitat belga subtil, lleugerament dolça i amb una final sec.

Una recepta relativament recent destinada a recuperar els bevedors europeus de Pils, que s'esdevé cada cop més popular a mesura que es publicita i es distribueix.

De força similar a la Dubbel, amb una caràcter semblant a la Ale forta Daurada o la Trippel tot i que una mica més dolça i no tan amarga. Sovint presenta un caràcter semblant a una Lager que sol donar un perfil més net en comparació amb els altres estils. Els Belgues fan servir el terme «blond» mentre que els Francòfons escriuen «blonde». La majoria dels exemplars es troben entre 6,5 i 7%Vol d'alcohol. Moltes cerveses Trappistes de taula són anomenades «blond» però no solen ser representatives de l'estil.

Malts Pils belgues, malts aromàtics, sucre, soques de ferment belgues que produeixen alcohols, èsters i fenols complexos. Llúpols nobles, Styrian Golding o East Kent Golding. Normalment no es fan servir espècies malgrat que alguns ingredients i productes annexes a la fermentació poden donar la impressió d'especiat (sovint reminiscències de taronja i llimona)
