ประเด็นการลงทุน ภาพยนตร์ไทย (โดยเฉพาะหลวงพี่แจ๊ส 4g) และภาพยนตร์ต่างประเทศที่ จะเข้ าฉายในปีนี้ หนุนความเชื่อมั่ นของเราว่ ากํ าไร MAJOR จะฟื้ นตัวได้ อย่างแข็งแกร่ง เราคาดว่ารายได้ตั๋วภาพยนตร์จะปรับตัวได้อย่างแข็งแกร่ง ในไตรมาส 2/59 ซึ่ งมี โอกาสที่ จะทํ าได้เทียบเท่ากับฐานที่สูงในปี ที่ แล้ ว ดังนั้นเรายังคงแนะนําซื้อ MAJOR จากภาพยนตร์ทําเงินที่จะเข้าฉายอย่าง ต่อเนื่องและการขยายโรงภาพยนตร์ใหม่ หลวงพี่แจ๊ส 4g หนุนรายได้ หลวงพี่แจ๊ส 4g เปิดตัวเมื่อต้นเดือนเมษายน ในสัปดาห์แรกของการเข้า ฉายทํ า รายได้ ไปกว่ า 73 ล้ า นบาทในเขตกรุ ง เทพและปริ ม ณฑล และ รายได้เปิดตัวเกือบเท่าพี่มากพระโขนง ซึ่งทํารายได้สูงสุดในสัปดาห์แรก ของวงการภาพยนตร์ไทย (100 ล้านบาทในสัปดาห์แรกที่เข้าฉาย) หลวง พี่แจ๊ส 4g ดําเนินการสร้างโดย Film Guru ซึ่งภายหลังขายลิขสิทธิ์ให้กับ MPIC ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทย่อยของ MAJOR (ถือหุ้น 92.46%), ด้วยเหตุนี้ MPIC จึ งเป็ นเจ้ าของลิ ขสิ ทธิ์ ภาพยนต์ 100 % และคิ ด 100 % จากรายได้ ตั๋ ว ภาพยนตร์ โดยที่ ไม่ ต้ องให้ ส่วนแบ่ งรายได้ กับ Film Guru เราคาดว่ า ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้จะสามารถทํากําไรในไตรมาส 2/59 ได้ถึง 200 ล้านบาท ซึ่ ง ณ ตอนนี้ ภ าพยนตร์ ทํ า รายได้ อ ยู่ ที่ 130 ล้ า นบาทเฉพาะในเขต กรุงเทพฯและ 330 ล้านบาททั่วประเทศ ภาพยนตร์ทารายได้ดีที่สุดในรอบปี เราเชื่อว่ารายได้จากภาพยนตร์หลวงพี่แจ๊ส 4g จะหนุนรายได้ MAJOR ใน ไตรมาส 2/59 ซึ่งคาดจะจบด้วยการทํารายได้ไม่ต่ํากว่า 180 ล้านบาทใน เขตกรุงเทพฯ และ 400 ล้านบาททั่วประเทศ เนื่องจากภาพยนตร์ได้รับการ ตอบรับที่ ดีมาก รายได้ของภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้สร้ างความแปลกใจให้แก่ เรา เนื่องจากก่อนหน้านี้เราคาดว่ารายได้จะทําได้เพียง 60 ล้านบาท แต่รายได้ กลับสูงกว่าที่เราคาดการณ์ตั้งแต่สัปดาห์แรกที่เข้าฉาย รายได้ตั๋วหนังไตรมาส 2/59 มีโอกาสที่จะแซงฐานรายได้ที่สูงในปี ที่ผ่านมา ก่ อ นหน้ า นี้ เ ราคาดว่ า รายได้ จ ากตั๋ ว ภาพยนตร์ ไ ตรมาส2/59 จะลดลง เนื่องจากฐานรายได้ของปีก่อนหน้าที่สูง ซึ่งมีภาพยนตร์ทําเงินหลายเรื่อง ได้แก่ Fast and Furious 7 (382 ล้านบาท), พระนเรศวร (111 ล้านบาท ), Avengers Age of Ultron (239 ล้านบาท ) และ Jurassic World ( 272 ล้ านบาท) อย่ างไรก็ ตามเราคาดว่ าภาพยนต์ เรื่ องหลวงพี่ แจ๊ ส 4g จะ สามารถผลักดั นรายได้ตั๋ วภาพยนต์ ในไตรมาส 2/59 และทํ าให้ รายได้ตั๋ ว ภาพยนตร์มีโอกาสแซงฐานรายได้ที่สูงในปีที่ผ่านมาได้ (1.5 ล้านบาท) ยิ่ง ไปกว่านั้น เราคาดว่าลิขสิทธ์ของหลวงพี่ ซึ่งซื้อมาจาก Film Guruในราคา เพียง 20 ล้านบาทจะสามารถทําให้ผลประกอบการของ MAJOR ปรับตัวดี ขึ้นจากต้นทุนที่ต่ํา โปรแกรมหนังอื่นๆยังแข็งแกร่ง แนวโน้มรายได้จากภาพยนตร์ที่รอเข้าฉายเรื่องอื่นๆ ยังคงแข็งแกร่งซึ่งจะมี ภาพยนตร์ที่คาดว่าจะสามารถทําเงินเกิน 100 ล้านบาท อย่างเช่น Captain America (3): Civil War, X-Men: Apocalypse และ Independence Day: Resurgence ภาพยนตร์เรื่องอื่นๆอย่าง The Jungle Book ก็ทํารายได้ไป แล้วกว่า 68 ล้านบาท และเราคาดว่า Captain America ภาคล่าสุดจะทํา รายได้รวมมากกว่า 200 ล้านบาท See disclaimer at the end of report

Company profile Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (MAJOR) is Thailand’s leading cinema operator with an overwhelming 7 % market share. It is now positioning itself as a ―lifestyle entertainment services‖ provider with concessions (food and beverages), bowling, karaoke, ice skating, space for lease, on-screen advertising and movie content via its 92.5% stakes in M-Picture Entertainment Plc (MPIC). It also has investment portfolios—a 23.4% stake in Siam Future Development Plc (SF), a 33% stake in Major Cineplex Lifestyle Leasehold Property Fund (MJLF), a 40% stake in ThaiTicketMajor Co., Ltd., a 3.95% stake in PVR Limited (PVRL), a 49% stake in PVR-blu-O Entertainment Ltd., and a 70% stake in Major Platinum Cineplex Co., Ltd. (Cambodia). Admission ticket sales were the main revenue source—53% of consolidated 2015 revenue—then concessions (16%), on-screen ads (14%), bowling and karaoke, rentals and movie content (5% each).
