CITY OF OJAI HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION AGENDA Regular Meeting Thursday, October 13, 2016 The regular meeting of the Ojai Historic Preservation Commission will be called to order by the Chair on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Ojai City Hall Council Chambers, 401 South Ventura Street, Ojai, California. While Historic Preservation Commission is in session all in attendance are expected to maintain order and decorum and to obey the orders of the Chair. Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Public Communications Members of the public wishing to address the Historic Preservation Commission on items appearing on the agenda are requested to complete a “speaker’s card” and file it with the Secretary prior to the start of the Historic Preservation Commission meeting. Cards are available in the Council Chambers Lobby. All comments should be limited to three minutes, unless additional time is granted by the Chair. Speakers should state their name and address for the record and must direct their comments to the Chair, not the audience or press. While the Historic Preservation Commission is in session, members of the Commission, City staff, and members of the audience are expected to maintain order and decorum and to obey the orders of the Chair1. Discussion Items 5. Work Priorities and Request to City Council to allocate staff time and give the Historic Preservation Commission direction to their specific work priorities. Recommendations: 1. Submit a request to the Mayor to agendize for the City Council’s consideration the HPCs recommended work priorities; or 2. If anyone wishes to challenge any of the foregoing actions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the Historic Preservation Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
