THE
FREMONT FLYER Club Meeting This month our meeting is being held indoors at Telly’s in Epping, NH. It is located on 125 almost midway between our 2 fields. The meeting will be held on Monday, April 20th at 7pm. When you enter, please use the door on the left marked for "take out." We will be in in the room to the left. Come by! We’ll have a few give-aways, and the Club will even buy you a drink. http:// www.tellysrestaurant.com

From Snow to Rain to Sun? We are finally thawing out! Days are longer, the sun is out, and we are flying! Hopefully you’ve been able to burn some fuel or run some batteries through your flying machines. This year we hope to have more events, and will be working in partnership with other flying clubs to offer clinics for practice of IMAC. These clinics will help us all to fly better, and will also provide an opportunity for more get-togethers. In addition, we are working to establish associate memberships that will allow our members to visit other clubs, and likewise, will allow members of other clubs fly with us for reduced rates.

Meeting Notes We had a great turnout for our first meeting at Telly’s last month and would love to see those who attended again this month. For those of you who missed it, we hope to see you on Monday. The meeting space for last month's meeting was not ideal. Because the private room at Telly's was double booked, we had to hold our meeting in the main dining room. This issue has since been resolved, and further meetings will be held in the private room.
Ideas, Suggestions?
We are always looking for new ways to improve the Club. Whether it’s a new event, new members, or even another flying site, please let your voice be heard!
Club Info
We are an AMA club with 2 fields in Epping, NH and Fremont, NH, respectively. Our members fly everything from park fliers to giant scale to helicopters to multirotors. Between the years of experience of Club members, there is always help available for someone new to the hobby to have a successful first flight.
Some highlights of last month's meeting include: *Financially, the club is in good shape.
*The club was proud to receive thank you letters from Wounded Warriors and AMA for its participation in, and donations on, National Model Aviation Day.
*The club's fields are in good shape so far. Dragway will likely need rolling (staff should help us out). Petersons will need some electric fence and pilot station fencing repair.
* The club discussed the potential for associate membership. Daren has since sent an email proposal draft to 9 other area clubs and is waiting for feedback.
*New member Chris Rohrer asked a great question about field etiquette and a discussion about the importance of field communication and flight line ensued. The "Field Operations" link on the club's website offers helpful guidelines on these topics.
