Reconciliation After Mass
Sunday, 5th March 2017 Praying the Stations of the Cross is one of our Lenten devotions. It helps us make a “spiritual journey” through contemplation on the Passion of the Lord. In view of this, I would like to invite you to our praying of the Stations of the Cross on all Fridays of Lent at 5.30pm. Please note that the Parish Office will be closed on Thursday 16 March because Maria will be attending the parish Secretaries gathering. There will be Masses with Anointing on 21, 22, and 23 March (Te Aroha, Morrinsville and Paeroa respectively) at 10am. If there is anyone in your family or someone you know who needs to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, please bring them to Church. There will be celebrations of the Sacrament of Reconciliation on: Tuesday, 28th March ( Rite II ) in Morrinsville at 7.00pm Thursday, 30th March ( Rite I ) in Paeroa at 4.30pm St Joseph’s School, Paeroa will be hosting this year’s St Joseph’s Day on Fr iday, 17 March. There will be Mass at St Mary’s Church ( Fr. Aidan M ) and some activities will be held afterwards. March 17 happens to be St Patrick’s Day, so we greet our Irish parishioners and those of Irish descent a happy feast day!
After Mass
10.15-10.40am
Can I ask you to pray for our RCIA catechumens (David and Sharon Nickalls) and candidate (Bruce Roberts) who are presented to the Bishop in the Rite of Election during Mass today at the Cathedral. They will be joined by other RCIA participants from other parishes within the Hamilton Diocese. Blessings
