Drive thru window Officers were dispatched to 22000 Block of W. Eight was smashed out. Mile Rd (Fast Food Business) for an alarm indicating cashier and back door motion. Officers arrived and discovered good B&E. Entry was through drive thru window. (smashed out) It appears that both cash registers were attacked and the cash register drawers are missing. Note: A second Commercial Burglary also occurred at a Grocery Store in the 18000 Block of Eight Mile Rd.

Front door was forced open on July 2, 2015. Alarm was tripped on July 20, 2015. Motion at garage door.
On July 2, 2015 a neighbor reported front door open on residence. (watching residence for victim) Officers discovered front door was forced open but nothing appeared to be disturbed inside the residence. The neighbor took care of securing the residence. On July 20, 2015 the alarm was tripped on residence. The residence was found to be secure at this time. When the homeowner returned home from an extended vacation she discovered that a jewelry box containing misc. jewelry was missing from the residence.

Victim advised that maintenance personnel observed two B/M’s driving away in his truck thru the parking lot at a high rate of speed. Maintenance thought it was suspicious because they know victim who resides at the complex. Victim stated that he had a lot of tools inside of his truck. One of the suspects appeared to be approx. 20 years old and was wearing a Red Hoodie.

STOLEN HONDA ACCORD
Officers were on patrol at the Hotel when they observed vehicle pulling into complex. Officers ran the plate on vehicle and it came back as stolen out of a neighboring jurisdiction. The driver parked vehicle and immediately started to walk away from the vehicle. Officers ordered the subject to stop and he complied. Officer’s investigation revealed that one of the vehicles windows was broken out with broken glass visible inside the vehicle and the ignition had been removed from the column. The driver was arrested for R&C Stolen Vehicle & No License Never Applied. Victim advises that her vehicle was parked in the driveway at her residence. Sometime between 10:00pm and the following morning at 9:45am someone stole the vehicle. No suspect information at this time.

Victim stated he last seen vehicle on July 25, 2015 at 9:00am. Victim discovered the vehicle missing at 9:30pm the same day. Victim stated his vehicle was parked on the west side of the complex. No signs of forced entry. Note: When SPD Dispatch attempted to enter vehicle as stolen it came back as an Impounded Vehicle. Jurisdiction that impounded the vehicle had a hold on the vehicle for an on-going investigation. The Southfield Auto Theft is also under investigation.

Details
Window was broken out Officers responded to the Hotel on a report of a and wallet was taken from Larceny. 2000 Mercury Cougar. Officer’s investigation revealed that the victim was at the Hotel with an unknown prostitute. Victim failed to pay for services and at some point the window on his vehicle was broken out and his wallet with his I.D. was taken. It was also reported that the prostitutes body guard (pimp) may have been involved in the Larceny. No further information on either suspect.
Attempted to take radio from 2012 Chrysler 200.
Victim stated his vehicle was broken into sometime between Friday July 24, 2015@ 9:00pm & Saturday July 25, 2015@ 8:00am. Entry was gained by breaking out the rear driver side window. The suspect attempted to take the radio. Attempt Only.

Victim states his laptop computer was stolen out of his vehicle sometime between Friday July 24, 2015@10:00pm & Saturday July 25, 2015@ 8:00am. Entry was gained by punching a hole under the driver’s door handle. No suspect information.
All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Ford Taurus Sho.
Victim found his vehicle in the rear parking lot behind the now closed business. Victim’s 2014 Ford Taurus was sitting on two garden blocks and the tires and rims were taken. Victim stated he parked the vehicle around 2:00am and went to the Hotel. Victim returned to the vehicle an hour later to find the Wheels & Tires were stolen.

In-Dash Navigation/ Victim stated the Navigational System was stolen Stereo System were taken out of her vehicle sometime between Friday July from 2014 Buick Enclave. 24, 2015@9:30pm & Saturday July 25, 2015@10:00am. Entry was gained by breaking out the rear passenger side window. No suspect information.
Phone Charger was taken Victim advises sometime between 4:00pm and from 2006 Buick Lacrosse. the following day at 12:40pm someone ransacked her vehicle and took her phone charger. It is unknown how entry was gained. There was no damage or signs of forced entry?

Details Victim stated at approx. 7:00am she walked from her apartment to the Gas Station at 9 Mile & Southfield to withdraw money from the ATM at this business. Victim stated she withdrew cash and then began walking back to her apartment. Victim stated a Black Mid- Size 1990's Ford Taurus, described as very clean and waxed, occupied by two heavy set black males in there mid 30's pulled up next to her. They rolled down the passenger window of the vehicle and both occupants pointed black semiauto handguns at her and demanded her money. Sunglasses were taken.
Southfield Officers were dispatched to the Hotel on a report of a large fight and possible shots being fired. Upon arrival, Officers met with an alleged victim in the parking. The victim stated that multiple suspects followed him into the hotel lobby and snatched his glasses off of his face. The victim stated one of the suspects was armed with a handgun when the incident took place. The victim was very uncooperative and provided limited information reference the suspects. Officers interviewed several witnesses who stated they heard 3-4 shots and observed victim carrying a revolver. According to witnesses on scene, the alleged victim confronted the suspects that robbed him while armed with the weapon. Officers were unable to locate the weapon or any of the suspects from the Robbery.

Commercial B&E 18000 Block of Eight Mile Rd.
(Grocery Store) 07/24/2015 (Friday) 3:38am The suspects were 2 males wearing gloves, masks & hoodies. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Black or Dark Blue 2004 Mercedes Benz C Class (possibly 2003). The suspects taped a piece of cardboard over the license plate. They used a crow bar to force both sets of vestibule sliding glass doors and the office door. It’s believed that these suspects are responsible for other Commercial Burglary’s that have occurred along the Eight Mile Corridor.

Possession of Stun Gun (Weapons Violation) 1- Arrest Warrant (Southfield) 1- Arrest 1-Juvenile TOT his Parents 07/26/2015 9:10am 23000 Block of Telegraph Rd.
(Motel) Officer was on routine patrol when he observed Handi- Cap Violation at the Motel. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was occupied by three subjects that were sleeping in the vehicle and the vehicle reeked of marijuana. Additional Officers responded to location to assist with investigation. As a result of this investigation one of the occupants was arrested for being in possession of a Stun Gun, a second occupant was arrested for Southfield Warrant and the third occupant (juvenile) was turned over to his parents.

(Residential- Apartments) Several Southfield Officers responded to Felonious Assault Investigation. Victim advised that he got into a verbal argument with suspect reference a Bridge Card that was used. When victim told suspect that he owed him money suspect produced a handgun, pointed it at victim and threatened him. Officers located suspect hiding in a closet at the apartment. A Southfield Police K-9 convinced the suspect to come out of the closet. The suspect was arrested for F/A.

Catalpa & Greenfield Rd. Officer stopped a vehicle for disobeying a stop sign. An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for OWI.

Evergreen Rd. & 12 Mile Rd. Officers were sent to location on a report of a two car crash. Upon investigating the crash it was discovered that the driver at fault was intoxicated. He was arrested for OWI and lodged.

Southfield Rd. & Mt. Vernon Officer was assisting in the cleaning up of the earlier serious injury crash when a vehicle drove through the area of the accident at a high rate of speed. Officer caught up to the vehicle which was travelling well above the posted speed limit and stopped it to investigate. The driver appeared to be OWI and an investigation was completed. The male driver refused the PBT and Breathalyzer. A search warrant was obtained for the suspect’s blood. He was arrested for OWI and lodged.
