Method of Entry No forced entry.

Description/Suspect Information Victim states sometime between 09/09/2015 11:30am and 08/10/2015 4:30am someone entered his rented room by unknown means and stole numerous items. It is possible that the items were removed by cleaning crew and put in housekeeping room. They do this if they don’t have information that the room rental was extended. Staff not available to check at this time.

Home Invasion: Date/Time 08/04/2015 7:07pm

Method of Entry Garage door was kicked open.

Description/Suspect Information Victim’s girlfriend advises suspect (Manager at Pawn Shop) came to the residence looking for victim. When the girlfriend told suspect that victim wasn’t there it was originally reported that he kicked in the garage door and stole several tools from the garage. Victim advises some of the tools belonged to the suspect however some of the tools that were taken belonged to the victim. Southfield Detectives conducted Follow Up Investigation. As a result of Follow Up Investigation Detectives believe that the suspect had permission to retrieve his tools as victims live in girlfriend was home, she watched and/or helped suspect select and load the tools, she did not see him force the door even though she stated that she was outside with him, and she never called police eluding to someone being on the property who was unwanted or that someone was stealing property after breaking into the garage. It was also discovered that the suspect had loaned the tools to victim for work at the Pawn Shop that suspect had contracted victim to do and paid him. The work hasn’t been completed and victim hasn’t returned to complete the job. Appears to possibly be a Civil Matter.

Attempt on Balcony Door Wall.

Victim advised that she was sleeping in her living room around 6:40pm and heard a noise on her balcony. Victim observed a hand trying to open the screen on the balcony door wall. Victim yelled at the person. The person stopped trying to open her screen and fled. Victim looked out and saw a young B/M wearing a White T-Shirt jump from the second story roof onto the ground. The young man got into the passenger side of a Black SUV that was driven away from the location by a second young B/M. Victim advised that the young men were laughing as they drove away. Sliding Door Wall Glass was shattered.

Officers responded to a call of a report of a Home Invasion in progress. A description of the suspect was broadcasted to area cars. A B/M was observed leaving the area and was stopped. Information was developed and the suspect was arrested for Home Invasion & DWLS.

Details Victim advises he parked his 2006 Chevy Trail Blazer in the parking lot near his apartment at 3:00am. Victim discovered the vehicle missing the same date at 9:00am. Vehicle was recovered on 08/07/2015 @ 8:45pm in Detroit. Ignition was punched, no missing parts, no new damage. No arrests were made. Reporting party (R/P) stated the vehicle was being used by the brother of the business owner without his knowledge and he reported the vehicle stolen. R/P stated he was informed today of the vehicles location and immediately called for a recovery.

Suspect(s) retrieved the wheel lock from the glove box and then stole All Four Wheels & Tires. Item Taken Cell Phone & Computer were taken from victim.

Details Officers received a delayed report of a robbery of a cell phone and computer. Victim stated that a person known to him made arrangements to buy a cell phone and computer. When the money was exchanged, the suspect advised the victim to get out of the car and leave the property or he would shoot him. The victim complied and walked home and called police. No gun was seen, only implied. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

Unarmed Robbery: 08/09/2015 3:07am

Handbag containing clothes, makeup & jewelry.

Victim states she works as a dancer at a local Night Club. A co-worker invited her to go back to her motel room in Southfield after they got out of work at 2:00am. Victim agreed thinking it was just going to be to hang out and watch movies. Victim and co- worker were driven to the Hotel by a subject only known by his nick name. When they arrived at the Hotel in Southfield Victim realized that the co-worker went to the Hotel to solicit prostitution. The unknown B/M that drove them to the hotel attempted to recruit victim to prostitute as well. When victim refused, the unknown B/M Assaulted (punched and kicked) her and took her handbag containing her clothing, makeup, and jewelry. Suspect Description: Last Name

Home Invasion/ DWLS-

1- Arrest

26000 Block of E. Carnegie Pk. Officers responded to a report of a Home Invasion in progress. A description of the suspect was broadcasted to area cars. A B/M was observed leaving the area and was stopped. Information was developed and the suspect was arrested for Home Invasion & DWLS.

OWI-

1- Arrest

Telegraph/ 12 Mile Rd. Officer was dispatched to a traffic crash at the location. Upon arrival, Officer determined that one of the drivers had been drinking. An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for OWI.

OWI-

1- Arrest

Southfield Rd. / 9 Mile Rd. Officer located a vehicle that was stalled and blocking with recent crash damage. Upon making contact with the driver it was observed that he was highly intoxicated. Subject arrested and lodged. Search warrant required for blood draw due to refusal to submit to a chemical test.

OWI1- Arrest Central Park/ Civic Center Dr. Officer observed a vehicle with a headlight out and travelling in excess of the posted speed limit. He stopped the vehicle and suspected the driver had been consuming intoxicating beverages. Upon completing an OWI investigation the driver was arrested for OWI.
