Brief Description

The project manager will be responsible for the overall management of the project and ensure its success

Duties and Responsibilities

The major roles and responsibilities:                    

Education/Knowledge

Experience

Effectively manage and monitor all the work related to the education project Support in planning of the strategy, interventions trainings and material development Develop and implement monitoring systems Support and do regular field supervision Coordinate and assist in trainings Coordinate period review meetings of the staff Support and assist supervisors and field staff Prepare fieldwork expeditions and schedules are followed Liaison with other Effective Intervention departments and projects as and when required Submit regular cash, and materials requests Responsible and implement logistics requirements Support in any other work related to the project as and when required Support in coordination and linkages with Govt and other institutions / organization as and when required Resolve conflicts at both intra-organizational level and at community level to ensure smooth implementation of the programme Be responsible for developing and submission of reports Ensures the maintenance of a register and file of keydocuments Program materials and study results must remain confidential unless express permission is given from EI to release them Available to travel in the intervention area Work with the teams communicate effectively with all

Has knowledge and experience in Project Management in similar positions in the field of Education Microsoft office Knowledge in quality education and its related fields Fluent in Portuguese, English and creole

 

Experience in management and team coordination Work experience in quality education

Hours of work

45 hours per week (days and hours of work are flexible as required due to fieldwork monitoring).

Duration of contract

12 months – with a three month probation (with possibility of renewal)
