What is Field Day?
While emphasizing good sportsmanship, classes compete with each other within their grade level in 6 different events. To help promote teamwork and to identify teams, students are encouraged to wear their designated class color. (Colors/Themes are listed below). Event stations are located on every playground. General Rules
*This is a free dress day only if students wear their class colors & respect the school dress-code. Example: shirts, shorts, tennis shoes are allowed; but spaghetti straps, sandals etc.,…are NOT allowed
*Each class & teacher is to stay together for the entire day. Students must show good sportsmanship and good behavior to be allowed to participate. *Each class must stay in their assigned station for the duration of their activity/event, until a signal is given to move to the next area. *Classrooms are encouraged to use banners, cheers, songs, and shirts to identify and promote a positive team atmosphere! Classes earn bonus points for showing IB Attributes & Attitudes!
