Baby Mounika (7 years) is suffering from heart problem. Doctors found that there is hole in heart and she needs to be operated. Baby’s parents contacted various hospitals at Nellore and Tirupathi. Though they have Arogyasri Scheme, no hospital in Nellore was ready to do the operation. So we took her to CARE hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and consulted Dr. Nageswar Rao (Pediatric cardiologist) and he has done required test (echo test) and suggested to meet Dr. Jagannadh (surgeon). Support for Snehalatha (Heart Problem & Hepatitis-B)
Snehalatha (14 years) is suffering from heart problem and Hepatitis-B. In her childhood, when the baby got breathing issues, local doctors told that might be due to heart problem. Parents consulted at Kurnool hospitals and doctors found there is hole in baby’s heart. The parents haven’t tried for baby’s treatment due to financial problems. When the baby is at the age of 12 yrs she started suffering from hepatitis. When baby was undergoing treatment for hepatitis at Chennai and doctors over there suggested them to go for heart check-up again. We took the baby to care hospitals and shown her to Dr. Nageswar Rao Garu, pediatric cardiologist. Doctor has done required tests (echo test), and told us that baby’s heart is normal now and no heart complications are there and so no need of a surgery. Though she had hole in heart at childhood, it got healed automatically with the age growth. So, some psychological burden on them has been removed with this check-up. Volunteer: Shilpa Pagadala, Pulla Rao MBV, and Surendra K
