Dear​ ​Parents, This​ ​morning,​ ​there​ ​was​ ​a​ ​bear​ ​sighting​ ​on​ ​one​ ​of​ ​our​ ​fields​ ​near​ ​Brewster​ ​High​ ​School.​ ​It quickly​ ​wandered​ ​back​ ​into​ ​the​ ​woods.​ ​We​ ​notified​ ​each​ ​school,​ ​cancelled​ ​outdoor​ ​physical education​ ​classes​ ​and​ ​recess​ ​to​ ​be​ ​cautious.​ ​Before​ ​children​ ​can​ ​return​ ​to​ ​outside​ ​activities,​ ​we will​ ​monitor​ ​the​ ​grounds​ ​to​ ​make​ ​sure​ ​that​ ​it​ ​is​ ​no​ ​longer​ ​near​ ​the​ ​schools.​ ​Our​ ​SROs​ ​have​ ​also been​ ​notified.
