1) About Reap Benefit    Reap Benefit is on a mission to create ‘​Solve Ninjas’.​ These are young citizens who  are solving real neighbourhood issues of waste-water-sanitation, potholes etc  through:    ● Local Data  ● Local Solutions  ● Local Mentors/Government   

We have worked with 17,600 students, diverted 440 tonnes of solid waste, saved 32  million litres of water, improved sanitation systems in more than 200 low-income &  government schools and built more than 100 low cost solutions (both IOT and non  tech solutions).  Click ​here​ to know more.

  2) Role: Fundraising & Sales Ninja    Location:  Compensation:  Previous Experience: 

Bangalore  Based on experience  3-5 years 

*​The selection process will take 3 weeks after the submission of the form 

  3) Role Requirements   

1. Sales: ​Build a pipeline of private high income & low incomes schools &  colleges and develop through Reap Benefit program and low cost solutions  2. Fundraising​: Identify partners who can sponsor Reap Benefit program  3. CSR/Foundations​: Build a pipeline of CSR/Foundations who can support our  work in low income communities and government schools 

  4) Why Reap Benefit?    1. Democratise Problem Solving​ : Audacious movement where every young  person is not the ‘future’ but is the ​present ‘here & now’.   2. Innovation​: Constantly innovating, be it ​developing India’s first technology  platform to build a community of youth citizen problem solvers​ OR ​an action  based skill rubric to measure the skills activated in youth through real life  problem solving​ OR develop ​organic enzyme which converts food waste into  compost, low cost waterless urinals, sensor based solutions to monitor air  pollution.  3. We are impacting ​local governance, citizenship and we develop ‘skills of the  future’.  4. Ability to learn from our mistakes.  5. Focussed impact and ‘​no individual is bigger than the impact’.  6. We have a coconut tree and an amazing garden in our office!

  1. Living our values: The constant struggle of having a ‘​militant’ based approach  vs a ‘nudge’ based approach​ when it comes to neighbourhood issues of  garbage,water & sanitation.    2. Fear  of  unpopular  decisions  ​:  ‘’​You  can  please  some  of  the  people  all  of  the  time,  you  can  please  all  of  the people some of the time, but you can’t please all  of the people all of the time’’.    ● Process Vs Output.   ● Long Term Vs Short Term  ● Fun Vs Seriousness  ● Idealism Vs Realism  We  have learnt and are learning to coexist with the contradictions of this space  and pursue our mission.    3. Need  to  be  more  assertive​:  Sometime  our  lack of assertion has been taken for  granted by some internal & external stakeholders.
