What is   “Food Security”?  Food security is when   someone is able to get   healthy food that they like   within their community   without having to worry about   their  community running out   of food or not having enough   money for their food. 

FOOD SECURITY TODAY  Food security is an issue that impacts people all around the world. While it is a greater problem in developing countries, it is also an issue for many in developed countries as well. About one in every eight people do not have enough to eat to be considered healthy. To help understand this, think about 8 people that you know. It would probably make you feel pretty sad if one of them didn’t have enough to eat. In fact, you would probably want to do something to help. Sadly, not everyone has a good friend like you so others are needed to help bridge the gap and provide food to eat until things get better. To dig deeper on this, answer the discussion questions provided and prepare to cast your vote.
