ARTICLE 3: TRANSFER OF HEBRON VILLAGE SCHOOL PROPERTY: To see if the Newfound Area School District will vote to authorize the School Board to convey the land and buildings in Hebron currently being used as the town offices, being Tax Map 17, Lot 20, including the land to the west of that building and easterly of West Shore Road which has traditionally been used as a play area with swing sets and a jungle gym and in which the building’s septic system is located, to the town of Hebron on such terms and conditions as the School Board shall determine are in the best interest of the school district. This action is consistent with the intent of the school board in 1998 in anticipation of the property no longer being used for school purposes, as evidenced by its meeting minutes of December 14, 1998. Apparently, no deed was given at that time. (The School Board voted to recommend this article by a vote of 7-0-0.) (The Budget Committee voted to recommend this article by a vote of 5-1-0.)
