ข่าวสารจากโรงเรียนนานาชาติ เซนต์สตีเฟ่ นส์ เขาใหญ่ ฉบับที่ 13 ขอต้อนรับสู่การแจ้งข่าวสารฉบับที่ 13 หลังจากเปิ ดครึ่ งหลังภาคเรี ยนที่ 2 ของปี การศึกษา นักเรี ยนระดับชั้นเยียร์ 11 ก็จะมีเวลา เหลือเพียง 8 สัปดาห์สาหรับการเตรี ยมสอบ ข้อเขียน IGCSE และ 3 สัปดาห์ก่อนการสอบ ปากเปล่า หลังจากพักผ่อนอย่างเต็มที่ในช่วงวันหยุด นักเรี ยนกลับมาเรี ยนด้วยความตั้งอกตั้งใจ ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มีความเป็ นผูใ้ หญ่ข้ นึ และเตรี ยม ความพร้อมให้ตนเองสาหรับการสอบ ดังนั้น ในช่วงระยะเวลานี้นกั เรี ยนควรจะทบทวน เนื้อหาอย่างน้อย 2 ชัว่ โมงในทุกคืน นักเรี ยนควรจัดตารางอ่านหนังสือเพื่อให้ทบทวน เนื้อหาในแต่ละรายวิชาได้ครบถ้วน ซึ่งควรจะมี เวลาพักจากการอ่านหนังสื อ เพื่อดื่มน้ าหรื อผ่อน คลายตนเองบ้าง นักเรี ยนควรจัดตารางอ่านหนังสือในวันหยุด ควบคู่กบั การทากิจกรรมพักผ่อนหย่อนใจด้วย ทั้งนี้ นักเรี ยนไม่ควรคร่ าเคร่ งหรื อหักโหมมาก จนเกินไปนัก

โรงเรี ยนฯ จะจัดการประชุมครู ผูป้ กครองและ นักเรี ยนระดับชั้นเยียร์ 9 ในวันศุกร์ที่ 13 มีนาคม นี้ ตั้งแต่เวลา 15.40 น. เป็ นต้นไป เพื่อให้ คาปรึ กษาเกี่ยวกับการเลือกเรี ยนวิชาในหลักสูตร IGCSE ณ ห้องประชุม (Study Hall) โรงเรี ยนฯ ได้แจกคูม่ ือการเลือกวิชาหลักสูตร IGCSE ให้นกั เรี ยนระดับชั้นเยียร์ 9 และจัดส่งถึง ผูป้ กครองแล้ว ผูป้ กครองท่านที่ไม่สามารถเดินทางมาร่ วม ประชุมได้สามารถติดต่อสอบถามข้อสงสัยกับ คุณครู ได้ ในวันและเวลาทาการ ในวันที่ 13 มีนาคม นักเรี ยนระดับชั้นเยียร์ 9 จะ ได้รับแบบฟอร์มสาหรับเลือกรายวิชา ดังนั้นหาก ท่านผูป้ กครองไม่สามารถเดินทางมาร่ วมประชุม ได้ กรุ ณาติดต่อฝ่ ายประชาสัมพันธ์ เพื่อให้ทาง โรงเรี ยนฯจัดส่งแบบฟอร์มให้ท่านในภายหลัง ในสัปดาห์น้ ี โรงเรี ยนฯส่งตัวแทนนักเรี ยน เดินทางไปร่ วมกิจกรรม FOBISIA ณ โรงเรี ยนฯ สาขากรุ งเทพ และหลังจากนั้นตัวแทนนักเรี ยน จะเดินทางไปร่ วมกิจกรรม U13 FOBISIA ใน วันที่ 13 มีนาคม นี้ ณ จังหวัดระยอง ขอให้ตวั แทนนักเรี ยนประสบความสาเร็ จในการ ทากิจกรรมครั้งนี้

หลายสัปดาห์มานี้ คณะกรรมการนักเรี ยนได้ ประชุมกันบ่อยขึ้น เพื่อจัดทาแผนการทา กิจกรรมเพื่อสาธารณประโยชน์ โดยในปี การศึกษาหน้า คณะกรรมการนักเรี ยนได้มีมติ ร่ วมโครงการสร้างรอยยิม้ (Operation Smile) ซึ่งเป็ นโครงการเพื่อสาธารณประโยชน์ระดับ นานาชาติ มีการจัดโครงการในประเทศไทย และทัว่ โลก โดยมูลนิธิจะระดมเงินรักษาเด็กที่มี โครงสร้างใบหน้าผิดปกติต้งั แต่กาเนิด หรื อปาก แหว่งเพดานโหว่ โดยมีการดาเนินโครงการมา ตั้งแต่ปีค.ศ. 1997 และช่วยเหลือเด็กกว่า 7000 คนทัว่ ประเทศไทย คณะกรรมการนักเรี ยนจะขายขนมเพื่อระดมเงิน สมทบทุนโครงการเพื่อสาธารณประโยชน์ใน วัน Mufti Day หรื อวันที่นกั เรี ยนสามารถแต่ง กายด้วยชุดลาลองแทนการแต่งกายด้วยชุด นักเรี ยน โรงเรี ยนฯจะประกาศวันดังกล่าวใน ทราบต่อไป ผูส้ นใจสามารถสื บค้นข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมทาง เว็บไซต์ http://thailand.operationsmile.org/ นอกจากโครงการดังกล่าวนี้ คณะกรรมการ นักเรี ยนยังระดมความคิดเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนา กิจกรรมต่างๆของโรงเรี ยนฯ ดังนั้น โรงเรี ยนฯ จึงหวังว่าจะได้สนับสนุนคณะกรรมการ นักเรี ยนต่อไปในปี การศึกษาหน้า
