Job Description Full-time Violence Prevention Program Manager Job Summary: The violence prevention program manager position is responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, and evaluation of violence prevention programming at Enlace Chicago. General Description: Reports to: Director of violence prevention Accountable to: Enlace’s violence prevention staff, director of education, and key community partners Communicates with: Schools, Department of Children and Family Services, CureViolence partners, and Community Watch partners Informs: Enlace management and stakeholders doing violence prevention work Duties and Responsibilities: ● Oversee direct service programs, including School-Based Mentors, CeaseFire, and Community Watch ● Use evidence-based practices to inform strategic direction of programs ● Maintain collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders who support violence prevention work ● Design, implement, and conduct ongoing process and outcome evaluation for prevention strategies and project implemented. ● Maintain continuous quality improvement plan and evaluation plan of programs ● Develops and conduct community education presentations on public safety issues ● Run a self-care group for staff ● Ensures contract and grant deliverables are met ● Data input as needed ● Supervision of program coordinators Qualifications ● Master’s degree in social work or related degree, or bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience ● Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred ● Experience developing and implementing community based violence prevention programming drawn from evidence-based practices ● Experience working on multiple tasks efficiently and effectively ● Experience working with youth and families, including those involved with street organizations ● Knowledge of roots causes of youth violence, gangs, and the juvenile justice system Enlace Chicago • 2756 S. ● Knowledge of community systems and community agencies that are working to prevent youth violence, including experience collaborating with multiple systems (schools, law enforcement, juvenile justice, community-based agencies, etc) ● Knowledge of Little Village street organizations and their dynamics ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills (may be asked to submit a writing sample) Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and resume to:
