CANYON CREST ACADEMY FOUNDATION BOARD JOB DESCRIPTION VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OVERVIEW The VP, Business Development serves as the conduit between the CCA Foundation and various non-donor income generating programs to maximize income producing opportunities that support the mission of the Foundation.

OBJECTIVES Plan and execute fund-raising programs that generate non donor revenue such as sales of spirit wear, camps and clinics, escrip and the Farmer's Market.

RESPONSIBILITIES • • • • • •

Attend monthly Foundation Board Meetings Develop new income generating and appropriate cause marketing opportunities Monitor and report monthly activity Manage program leads to insure continued support Consider tax and regulatory implications of various programs and stay abreast of legal and tax changes regarding unrelated business income Establish, plan and schedule various programs to ensure optimum insurance coverage and pricing

As a Board Director, will: • • • • • • • •

Support the Board mission Make a financial contribution to the Foundation Participate in board and fund-raising activities Know the general annual priorities set by the principal and staff Be able to articulate the non-designated giving policy Approach constituents and present the Foundation “ask” Be available for a two year term Participate in volunteer recruitment efforts
