A large bill board will be placed on the last turn onto the home stretch to the finish line serving as a backdrop to the Start /finish with the Words; "BOSTON - UNITED WE STAND" This canvas will have the name of each person who died on that day. Should you wish, you can sign a personal message of respect. This canvas will be brought back to be presented to the Boston Marathon.

Liz has kindly accepted our invitation to come to Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon to capture each runner/walker on the final 100 meters of The Boston Mile to the Finish line on Dec 7th and capture images leading up to and after the race. So please give the Boston girl a big Irish welcome and smile on race day :) Liz will be saying a few words on race morning on behalf of herself and her city; she will then release the 117 balloons for each Boston Marathon to date. Liz will also be giving talks and a slide show of her photographic images talking about that day. Talks will be held on registration day at The Quality Hotel, Clonakilty on Dec 6th. You will be updated with the times as we work through this year’s programme. Liz will bring back home the signed canvas “BOSTON - UNITED WE STAND” and present this to the Boston Marathon on all our behalf. She will be at Boston Marathon April 2014 to photograph Team Hoyt and the race as part of a documentary on Team Hoyt's last Father and Son Boston Marathon.
