THE LIFE CHURCH
A LETTER FROM OUR PASTOR. Due of your commitment and generosity, we have seen the body grow in faith and dep th. We know this is the Lord’s work among us (1 Cor 3:6)! We have seen many people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus and others step into new roles using the gifts God has given them to build and encourage His body here. We have seen new ministries form and take root, and we have seen existing ministries rejuvenated with fresh life. We are grateful for the way you have played an important role! As we consider the future, we couldn’t be more excite d about the coming year. We know God is on the move, and we are excited to continue to reach our community and beyond. We are passionate about The Life Church moving into a permanent home. As the reality of living this vision out becomes clearer, we are struck with the weightiness of the calling, the beauty of the invitation, and the way it is going to stretch us individually and corporately. We sense God asking us to trust him in new ways, to take new steps of faith, and new risks to hold out the hope of the gospel to our neighborhoods and the nations. We look forward to 2017 with excitement and anticipation for what God will do in and through us! Moving forward with a relentless faith,
Pastor Eddie Freeman Senior Pastor, The Life Church

ATTENDANCE It’s not about the numbers – it’s never been about the numbers. It’s about how many loves are being changes for the Kingdom of God! Everything we do is for people. If we did all of this just for one life to be changed, that’s enough for me.
Throughout the week, we offer three types of services for all three different age groups. On Sunday, we have our Main service as well as our Little Life and Kid’s Life services. On Wednesdays, we offering Today’s Anointed Generation for grades 6-12.
Every seat represents a story. Every story tells of a life changed.
Check out our average numbers for 2016:
119 20 18 Sunday service : 119 adults Little Life/Kid’s Life: 20 kids T.A.G.: 18 teenagers
Professions of Faith
Baptism
In 2016, we had the ability to witness and be a part of 19 professions of faith!
We did not see many baptisms in our services this year, but 3 were reported from our Life Groups! We believe that any person who has accepted Christ has the ability and honor to baptize another! Our goal in 2017 is to offer in service baptism twice a year!
This includes new believers and those who chose to rededicate their life to Jesus Christ!

CHANGING PEOPLES LIVES
WHY OUTREACH IS IMPORTANT…
Aside from our major events of the year, we have strategically planned gifts and giving throughout the year. We believe that when shown true love, the love and kindness of Christ, people’s lives are forever changed. Here’s a few way we reached out to our community, city, and beyond in 2016.
Peru Missions
Giving Tree
Amado and Mariana
Christmas Outreach We raised over $4,000 through our Community Box to send the Yarleque family to Peru in 2016! They were able to purchase supplies, food, and gifts thanks to your support via our Sunday service offering time.
Vision for Israel Charity We offer monthly support to Vision for Israel to provide help and support to the poor and needy people living in the land of Israel today. Our annual total equals $3,200.
Benevolence Ministry
We provide material and financial resources to the community on a caseby-case basis. Often we have helped homeless or displaced families that come in or call. Our annual total that does not include the numerous Community Box collections that have been given to families is $1,265.
In 2016, we were able to help over 10 families with 30 different children have a very Merry Christmas. We handed out anonymous tags in our Sunday service and asked them to be returned. We received and abundances of gifts and kindness for all of our kids in need!

Thrive Campaign The Thrive Campaign is the vision for The Life Church moving forward. This is based on Joshua 1:6-7; “Be strong and of good courage…that you may prosper wherever you go.” The translation of this scripture is; “I will cause you to push forward and break out.” We are moving forward to further the Kingdom of God and to bring freedom to our community, city, and beyond.
WHY THRIVE? We believe that God wants all of us to thrive – in our personal lives, and as His body of believers. We as a church want to “thrive” for His Kingdom! We want to find a permanent home to keep growing and THRIVING!
HOW DO I GIVE?
You can give online at thelife.org/giving, in person on Sunday’s, or set up a Thrive commitment card for ACH/e-check giving! Be sure to designate funds to the right place – Thrive!
WHO IS IN? Everyone! First time guest to long attending member – everyone is welcome to be a part of our Thrive campaign in any way they can! Time, talent, or treasure.
WHAT’S THE GOAL? Our goal is to raise a total of $330,000 with your support! In 2016 we were able to raise a total of $113,678.00. Our next step is to find property to call home.
