The Haunted Mansion at Quietwoods South

For the past 10 years, the Haunted Mansion located in Brussels at Quietwoods South Camping Resort has used this creative attraction to raise funds for Southern Door Schools. In 2016 we th begin the 11 season, We have been voted Visitor's Choice Award as Wisconsin's Favorite Northeast Region Haunted Attraction six years in a row!
How many people do you employ? The Haunted Mansion operates with a total volunteer force. In 2015 503 volunteers provided 8,451 hours of service to ensure the success of the first four Friday and Saturday nights in October when the Mansion is open. In April of 2015 the Haunted Mansion was selected for the Volunteer Center of Door County’s Golden Heart Award.
What makes your business special in Southern Door? With the help of Quietwoods South Campground, our community, the Acceptance of the 2015 Golden Heart Award businesses and individuals who donate sponsorships and the volunteers, we have raised over $150,000 the first 10 years. Proceeds from The Haunted Mansion support K-12 academics, arts, athletics, and enrichment activities at Southern Door Schools. What one place or event in Southern Door do you love or stands out for you? The Haunted Mansion while humble in its beginnings has grown to be a family friendly destination that provides fun and fright for a nominal fee. There are special “lights on” times for the little ones. For those who dare…ramble through the dark corn maze and haunted trail, where terrifying creatures live. Be careful not to disturb the walking dead deep in the middle of the dark woods and rancid swamp! Even more fear awaits you as you journey on our haunted bus ride leading you to our morbid mansion, featuring new scares and double trouble not for the faint of heart! One visit to The Haunted Mansion and you will quickly learn why it has earned the title of Wisconsin's Favorite Northeast Region Haunted Attraction by hauntedwisconsin.com visitors six years in a row!
