EARLHAM COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES June 7, 2017 REGULAR BOARD MEETING The Earlham School Board met in regular session at 6:00 p.m. in the School Library on June 7, 2017. The Board Vice President Julene Mutchler-McNeal called the meeting to order. The roll call was answered by Jan Fletcher, Kasey Henke, Julene Mutchler-McNeal, and Jess Tiemeyer. Also present M. Wright, and no visitors. Kathy Woolcott was absent. Jess Tiemeyer moved the board approve the agenda. Jan Fletcher seconded the motion. The motion carried by unanimous vote. Jan Fletcher moved the board approve the change order for the gym project to remove the spruce tree. Jess Tiemeyer seconded the motion. The motion carried by unanimous vote. Jan Fletcher moved the board approve a resolution appointing paying agent, bond registrar, and transfer agent, approving the paying agent, bond registrar and transfer agent agreement and authorizing the execution of same. Kasey Henke seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken and was unanimous in favor. Motion passed. Kasey Henke moved the board approve that the form of tax exemption certificate be placed on file and approved. Jan Fletcher seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken and was unanimous in favor. Motion passed. Jess Tiemeyer moved the board approve a resolution authorizing and providing for the terms of issuance and securing the payment of $3,775,000 school infrastructure sales, services and use tax revenue bonds, series 2017, of the Earlham Community School District, State of Iowa, under the provisions of chapters 423E and 423F of the Code of Iowa, and providing for a method of payment of said bonds. Kasey Henke seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken and was unanimous in favor. Motion passed. Jess Tiemeyer moved the board adjourn the meeting. Jan Fletcher seconded the motion. The motion carried by unanimous vote. The meeting was adjourned at 6:06 p.m.
