Town launches new and improved Economic Development section of the Town website HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town`s revamped Economic Development section on its website which allows for information to be searched in a more streamlined manner and makes it easier for prospective businesses to work with the Town. The Town of Halton Hills’s Economic Development Strategy states that, in order for Halton Hills to remain competitive in the development environment there is a need to create a webpage that is easy to navigate and where information is easily accessed. The vast majority of enquires for economic development information comes through the website, therefore it is essential to provide a full spectrum of information with links to the Towns’ business partners. In addition, all printed materials produced must be able to be accessed on the Town’s web site. “The Town plays a strong strategic role to ensure Halton Hills attracts new investment and maintains existing businesses that helps maintain a viable local economy. The new Economic Development section allows for our information to be easily found,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. The Town’s website is visited by more than 35,000 people on a monthly basis.
