Georgetown Action Sports Needs Assessment HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town of Halton Hills is launching the Georgetown Action Sports Needs Assessment. This public consultation will serve to measure the demand for action sports facilities (skateparks, BMX, multi-purpose courts) in Georgetown and inform staff and Council on which existing facilities should be refurbished; what types of new facilities to build; and where they should go. More information can be found at: www.haltonhills.ca/actionsports “We are very excited to launch this study to gain important feedback from youth and other action sports participants in Town,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette “We hope that everyone will participate in the study so that the Town receives meaningful feedback and can move forward on creating new and improved facilities in Georgetown.” This website includes project information and online surveys to gather detailed feedback. There will also be a future public open house and stakeholder meetings.
