MEDIA RELEASE May 9, 2016
Town of Halton Hills Launches ROADS 2016 Pavement Management Program HALTON HILLS, ON – Starting this spring, select streets in various wards within the Town of Halton Hills will benefit from road resurfacing, and where needed, road reconstruction. This work will help keep the Town’s roads in peak condition. This construction project is known as ROADS 2016. Concurrent with the Town’s work, Halton Region will be rehabilitating or replacing water and wastewater infrastructure in the same area. Each year, the Town’s Pavement Management and Capital Works program renews and improves roads across Halton Hills. In 2016, the Pavement Management Program focus will continue to be upgrading roads in Wards 3 and 4 to ensure that roads are safe and in top condition for residents. “The Town of Halton Hills is continuing its efforts to keep our roads in good repair,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “We know that each impacted street will experience some disruption during construction, but the results of ROADS 2016 will improve residents’ quality of life for years to come.” Pavement Management Program Affected Streets The following streets will have road work completed this season under the Town’s Pavement Management Program.
