Fun, free activities for all on Family Day HALTON HILLS, ON – Family Day is quickly approaching and facilities in both Georgetown and Acton are gearing up for a full day of fun, family-oriented activities on Monday February 20. While the main attractions continue to be swimming and skating, a variety of other activities will also be available including Monkeynastics, Sportball, Family Yoga, Craft Time, Family Movie, Story time and Drop in Lego. Activities are available at the Acton Community Centre, Acton Lion’s Indoor Pool, Gellert Community Centre, Mold-Masters Sportsplex, Halton Hills Cultural Centre and Georgetown Library. The Town of Halton Hills Recreation and Parks is thrilled to announce the Georgetown Lions Club as the lead sponsor for 2017. “Through their generosity, we are able to provide the community a variety of free activities,” said Mayor Bonnette. “We hope people of all ages take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to get active and enjoy time with their families”.
