Halton Hills Fire Department concludes successful toy drive HALTON HILLS, ON – Thanks to the generosity of Town residents and employees, the Halton Hills Fire Department collected more than 250 toys in just three weeks at the Acton and Georgetown fire stations. Mayor Rick Bonnette was not surprised by the great result. “Our community has repeatedly, and without fail, answered the call. This is just another example of how our community supports those in need. Thank you Halton Hills” Halton Hills Fire Chief Brent Marshall also appreciated the response. “It is truly heartwarming to see the generosity of Town staff and Halton Hills residents. Their kindness will bring much happiness to children this Christmas,” Firefighters will now deliver the toys to the Salvation Army in Georgetown.
