Lunchroom Procedures Reaping Benefits It has taken some getting used to, but we are seeing the benefits of our new lunchroom procedures. •
Teachers have reported that greater classroom community is being built because students are making new friends in the lunchroom. (Students are making new friends because they are given the opportunity to sit with many different children.)
•
There have been less complaints of bullying going on during lunch recess.
•
Every student has someone to sit by at lunch—no one sits alone.
•
Students are eating more of their lunches before going outside.
•
The lunchroom is cleaner, quieter and more orderly.
Thanks for your patience. We know that we can always improve, so please feel free to give us your feedback.

Please help your children dress appropriately for the weather. When it is 20 degrees or above, students are expected to go outside for recess. Please write your children’s names in their coats and jackets—this really helps with lost clothing. Thank you.

You're in Charge
I spend my time on things that are most important. This means I should say no to things I should not do. I set priorities, make a schedule, and follow my plan. I am organized.
Book Fair Nov 7-11 Before and After School Money earned helps our school update our take home library with new books. The book fair also gives books for the “It Pays to Read” assembly.
