CHILDRENS LITURGY Thank you very much to the parent who has come forward with an offer to help at the children’s Liturgy, but we still need more helpers please. So we will sadly be unable to continue with the Liturgy weekly in term th th time. This term there will be no Liturgy on 11 or 18 th Feb as it is half term and no Liturgy on 25 March as no Leader is available. In the summer term we will move to fortnightly or monthly Liturgy. If you feel you can help with this wonderful ministry and would like to know more of what is involved please contact Margaret James on 07900 680476 or [email protected] or pop along to one of our sessions. SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMMES FIRST HOLY COMUNION: rd Saturday 3 February at 10.30 am to 12.00 pm, in the Church hall is the next Children’s session for this year’s Holy Communion programme. TALKS BY FR STEPHEN LANGRIDGE Fr Stephen Langridge will be coming to St Ann’s to give a series of talks to our First Holy Communion parents. These talks are open to all parishioners Coffee & tea served at 7.45pm for a prompt start at 8.00pm. Tuesday 20th February: Prayer Tuesday 13th March: Marriage and Family Life FLOWER ARRANGERS WANTED. There is no need for experience we have all learnt as we go along. If you like arranging flowers at home then you will enjoy arranging them for our Parish. It is really good to work in pairs so if there are two friends willing to give it a trial all the better. We have lost our younger arrangers and we thank you all for your dedication and talents. We need more people as it becomes difficult at holiday times and the big Feasts of Christmas and Easter. FROM 7-9 PM AT ST JOSEPH’S CHURCH EPSOM. This training is for everyone, but we are particularly targeting those who work with or minister to Vulnerable groups (Children and adults at risk.) It is the expectation of the Bishop, Trustees and Safeguarding commission that this initial training is undertaken and refreshed every three years. New Volunteers should undertake the initial training within the first year of being appointed. Please could you let the parish office know names as soon as possible for anyone who wishes to attend. CALLED BY NAME RETREAT Called by Name is a vocation retreat for young adults (aged 18-35) being held 9 - 11th February at Worth Abbey, Crawley. It offers an opportunity for you to tune-in more deeply to the call of Christ in your life, to discern His will for you, discover deeper meaning and direction in your life, and to grow in the trust and freedom to respond generously to the Gospel. The course being followed this year will be Nothing More and Nothing Less.
