Boscobel Area Schools - Invitation To Bid Mid-Size Passenger Car The undersigned bidder affirms and declares:

1. That this contract proposal is executed and signed by said bidder with full knowledge and acceptance of the provisions of the General terms and Conditions, Bid Specifications and Bid Proposal which are made a part of the contract. 2. That should any part of this proposal be accepted in writing by the Boscobel School District within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of bid opening, said bidder will furnish and deliver the commodities and/or services for which this proposal is made, in the quantities and at the prices bid, and in compliance with the specifications. 3. That this proposal is covered by surety in the following form as checked (See Amount of Bid Surety above if required)

PROPOSAL: The undersigned, accepting the conditions set forth herein, hereby agrees in strict accordance therewith, to furnish and deliver the commodities to the school named at the prices bid herein. Proposals received later than the time and date specified will not be considered Amendments to or withdrawal of proposals received later than the time and date set for the opening will not be considered. Bidders or their representatives may be present at the bid opening. The School District of Boscobel Area Schools may require further information and references on any individual or company placing a bid prior to the awarding of a bid. The School District of Boscobel Area Schools reserves the right to amend and/or cancel the bid invitation prior to the time and date of the bid opening. The School District of Boscobel Area Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid they deem to be most advantageous to the district. The School District of Boscobel Area Schools reserves the right to correct an award erroneously made as a result of a clerical error on the part of Boscobel Area Schools.

SPECIFICATIONS For

One (1) Mid-Size Passenger Vehicle District will consider a new Ford Taurus or Chevrolet Impala or Similar Vehicle (2016, 2017, or 2018 model) Quantities: The School District reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of vehicles ordered in conjunction with the bid. Vehicle Delivery: Bid prices are to include delivery to the appropriate department within the School District. Delivery is to be arranged with the District Administrator or his/her authorized representative. Manuals: All manuals requested within the bid specifications must be furnished with each vehicle at time of delivery. No photocopies will be accepted and no payment(s) will be made until all manuals are received. Stipulations: Under all circumstances, the delivered vehicles shall conform to applicable Federal and State vehicle safety and/or transportation regulations and standards. This includes 47CFR Chapter 1 FCC Rules and Regulations Part 15 subpart J, relative to Electronic Equipment RF Emissions and Interference. Vehicles must be serviced and delivered in operational condition, complete in every detail to conform with the specifications. The School has the sole discretion to reject or accept any vehicle exceeding the above stated mileage. Bids are requested and will be accepted only from experienced manufacturers of said equipment, or the factory-authorized dealer of same. Bidders Are Required To provide full descriptive literature for the vehicles they are bidding, including published EPA fuel economy estimates. In addition to the manufacturer’s standard warranty, vendor shall guarantee to make replacement of defective parts and correction of defective workmanship, including all labor involved, at no cost to the School District of Boscobel, for a period of one (1) year from the date of the acceptance of the vehicle(s).
