Celebrations and Congratulations To the Open School Theatre Company Over 80 Open School elementary and secondary students participated in the recent performance(s) of A Christmas Carol. There were three successful and well-attended shows. Two, in fact, were sold-out shows! Thanks to all that came out to share and support the arts and this performance at the Open School. To the We the People Team The Open School We the People Team placed fourth in the State Finals Competition! This was not an easy accomplishment considering the bulk of these students were on the Hurricane Relief trip! Great job for all the great teamwork!

Extended Travel at the Open School Colorado’s participation in the Nurse Licensure Compact streamlines our ability for school trips to travel more freely.

PRESCHOOL REGISTRATON FOR 2018-19

The Nurse Licensure Compact is a modern licensure solution for the 21st century. As leaders in public protection, State Boards of Nursing developed and adopted the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact in 2015. The Nurse Licensure Compact allows for nurses to have one multistate license with the ability to practice in all compact states.

Registration begins for NEW Preschool students on Tuesday, January 16th at 8:00 AM in the lobby. Current Preschool students and siblings of current students can register for Preschool during the Week of January 8th. The registration packet must be returned by Wednesday January 12th to ensure a secured spot in the Program. Please let me know should you have any questions! Legislative failure to renew Colorado’s participation in the Nurse Licensure Compact may have detrimental effects on the Open School Travel Program. What can you do? Go to https://www.nursecompact.com/ and click the “Take Action” button. By completing some very basic information, you will be able to send a letter our state’s governor, senator, representative and tell them you support the Nurse Licensure Compact.
