Principals Certificates As a school we are always striving to build and promote a positive school culture that rewards effort and achievement. As part of this Mr Phillips has introduced ‘Principals Certificates’. " When students display ‘Excellence’ in any particular area their teacher and/or a fellow staff member will ask them to take their piece of work, or discuss what they have done, with Mr Phillips." Mr Phillips will put their name into his certificate book (so he remembers to put their names into the newsletter) and they will get to choose from one of his funky pencils!!! The certificates will be presented to the students at the following weeks Monday assembly, which parents are welcome to come along to!"

A big thank you to Carters Contractors for patching the potholes in the school parking area! "

School Donations You will soon receive an invoice for our school donations. School fees/donations are not compulsory, but they do go a long way in a school our size! The school appreciates the contributions of those whanau that choose to donate!"

Beach Hop Volunteers The PTA are looking to make the most of the big crowds expected at the Beach Hop Warm Up Party, in Waihi, on the 26th March. " They are planning on running a seafood themed BBQ stall as a fundraiser and require a number of helpers on the day. Ideally they would like to have rostered times for those helping so that all the helpers get a chance to take in some of the festivities, throughout the day. " If you can lend a hand please let the office know as soon as possible!!!"

If you see any photos on our school Facebook page or in the school newsletter that you would like to have a digital copy of pop into school with a flash drive and Mr Phillips will sort you out!"

ERO Visit We recently finished our Educational Review Office (ERO) visit. They had many positive comments to make around the learning environment and positive school culture. We will let you know when the full report is released in the near future!"
