Tuesday Rehearsal Schedule 3:30-5:30

Saturday Rehearsal Schedule 9:00-2:00 + Lunch 11:30-Noon

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA INVITATIONAL AT DISNEYLAND This is our first competition. It is complicated with the fact that it is being held at Disneyland which has their own rules. Please read all of this and ask any questions that you may have before that day. We must follow all of these rules. 1) The girls must be at the Fantasyland Theater audience entrance at 9:15 to enter backstage at 9:30. There is no mercy if we are late. If we are late, we don’t perform. Therefore we have to be there by 9:15. Any girl who arrives after 9:30 will not be allowed on stage to compete and that messes up everyone else! The group will go backstage with the Disney Host at 9:30. No one comes backstage after that. (Please give emergency medication to Becky Murphy.) 2) Disneyland is only giving us 20 minutes to get dressed and to organize our props. (It usually takes the girls more than 30 minutes just to get organized). So, we are going to get dressed in Big Bear and enter the park in our outfits. Everyone must be dressed before they enter the park. GIRLS MUST NOT CHANGE IN THE PARK RESTROOMS. We will be disqualified if they do. 3) Only Michelle Payton and Becky Murphy will be allowed backstage with the girls. Everyone else is welcome to find seats in the theater or to enjoy the park. Our performance is at 11:00. 4) Performers and chaperones are not to take cell phones or cameras backstage with them. If they do, they must be turned off completely! Valuables are not secure, so performers should leave their valuables with parents or put them in my car when we leave Big Bear. They can collect them after the performance. 5) The girls must wear their Altitude Adrenaline t-shirts after the performance. If they choose to wear shorts, the shorts must be to their knee. 6) All performers must meet back at the Fantasyland Stage no later than 5:15 in order to attend the awards ceremony. If they arrive after that, I cannot guarantee that they will be allowed to attend the awards ceremony as Disneyland usually doesn’t allow us into the theater until everyone has arrived. So, 5:15 is the cut-off. Please plan accordingly. (We cannot “save” seats for you if you are late.) 7) LED shoes may not be lit until the performance! Schedule for the Day 5:00 am: Room 29 at North Shore to get dressed – Either come with hair and make-up done or bring your own make-up and brush. If we have time, we will do a run-through that morning. We will also pack up all props and other necessary things (extra outfits, etc.) 6:00 am: Leave North Shore 8:00 am: Arrive at Disneyland Parking Garage 9:00 am: Enter Disneyland 9:15 am: Meet at the Fantasyland Theater entrance 9:40 am: Come back stage (only designated chaperones allowed; NO PICTURES) 11:00 am: Performance on stage - no extra admission 12:00 noon (or so): Arrive back into the park 6:00 pm: Awards Ceremony at Fantasyland Stage - no extra admission 10:00 pm: Leave for NS (if you are riding the van/bus)
