The Presidentsand the GeneralSecretariesof Federations(AIRF & NFIR) called on you yesterday i.e. 29tuJune 2016 and conveyed our serious disappointmentas well unhappiness among railway employees on the Government's decisions relating to VIIth Central Pay Commission's recommendations. We are extremely sad to convey that the Governmenthas not reasonablydealt with our demandsmainly minimum wage, multiplier factor, abolition of National Pension System in Railways etc. The railways specific issuesmentionedin Part 'B' of Charterof demandshave also not beensettledthroush discussions. . We have also conveyedto you that the industrialpeaceis being threatenedin railways on account of Government's unreasonableand illogical decisions.During discussions,we have specially requested to kindly reach Hon'ble Prime Minister for conveying the total disappointmentamong all categoriesof railway employeesand for finding ways and meansto resolvemattersto avert untow-arddevelopmentsin Railways.Here it is worth-mentioningthat on previous occasiontoo during the course of discussions,we had requestedfor our meetingwith Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. We thereforerequestyou to kindly approachthe Hon'ble Prime Minister for solving the issuesamicably as we are keen to preservehealthy industrial relationsin railways. We trust that the railway specific issueswill be resolvedthrough negotiationsunder your leadershipwithout further delay.
