1. The India has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development Investment Program - Tranche 2 and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development Agency (UUSDA), Government of Uttarakhand (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply, Installation and maintenance of AMR water meters of various sizes (15 mm to 100 mm), Hand Held Unit for Reading AMR Meters including Software with Operation and Maintenance for a post – installation period of 7 (Seven) years in the area of Dehradun and Roorkee: Package No. WSS01DR. 3. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage: Two Envelope procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4.

To purchase the Bidding Documents in English eligible bidders should
Write to the address above requesting the Bidding Documents for WSS01DR - Supply, Installation and maintenance of Automated Meter Reading (AMR) water meters of various sizes (15 mm to 100 mm), Hand Held Unit for Reading AMR Meters including
Software with Operation and Maintenance for a post installation period of 7 (Seven) years in the area of Dehradun and Roorkee.
Pay a nonrefundable fee of INR 11,350/- (Indian Rupees Eleven thousand Three Hundred Fifty only or USD 172) by demand draft in favour of “Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development Investment Program”, payable at Dehradun .Bidders have to pay additional courier service charges INR 1,000/- (Indian Rupees One thousand only or USD 15) for delivery within India; or INR 4,000/- (Indian Rupees Four thousand only or USD 60) for delivery outside India.
The document will be sent by courier service. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

Deliver your bid
to the address above on or before the deadline 2 November 2016; 15:00 hrs IST together with a Bid Security as described in the Bidding Document.
Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. 7. Pre-bid meeting with the bidders shall be held at office of the Employer, Program Director UUSDIP, 777, Saatvik Tower, Kaulagarh Road, Rajendra Nagar,Dehradun -248001 at 11:00 hrs IST on 8 October 2016. Work site visit of Dehradun & Roorkee will be conducted on 6 October 2016 & 7 October 2016 at 11:00 hrs IST respectively which will be coordinated from PIU Office, Dehradun (Mob no: +91 9456590001) & Roorkee (Mob no: +91 7055300919). Bidders interested in participating in bid process are advised to attend pre-bid meeting and visit site before submission of bid. 8. The Program Director, UUSDIP will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids
