LEOPARD’S PATH VERY IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE FOR DECEMBER: SERVICE – Doing all you can for others.
From Mrs. Tolbert: Today the Pro Image Sports Sale/Fundraiser begins. This will be held at the Highland Middle School today, Friday, Dec. 2nd from 2:00 – 8:00 pm. (We dismiss at 11:50). It will also be held on Sat., Dec. 3rd from 9:00-1:00. There will be many items to choose from: sweatshirts, t-shirts, pants, hats, etc. There will be top brand names, professional sports teams and colleges to choose from. Proceeds benefit HMS and Alhambra Primary. Help us spread the word.
Energy Drinks are not allowed at school. They are not age appropriate for young children. The students’ Christmas Programs are quickly approaching. The students are working hard on their songs. Both programs will be held Thursday, Dec. 15th. Please do not have your child wear a Santa hat, headband with antlers, etc. so that parents can see any children standing in the back. Also, siblings attending the program(s) need to stay seated with parents before, during and after the program(s). The kindergarten and 1st grade program will run from 6:30 – 7:00 pm. The gym doors will open at 6:10 pm for the first program. At 6:15 all students need to be in the cafeteria to meet their teachers. Guests can be seated in the gym. The 2nd and 3rd grade program will run from 7:30 – 8:00 pm. The gym doors will open at 7:10. At 7:15 all students need to be in the cafeteria to meet their teachers.
Classroom Christmas Parties will be held on our last day of school before break – Dec. 21st in the afternoon. Teachers will be sending home more details for their individual classrooms. Remember that siblings should not attend classroom parties. It is only for students who attend school at Alhambra.
