Mayor Thanks Recreation Volunteers HALTON HILLS, ON – “Volunteers are the lifeblood of this community”, said Mayor Bonnette as he, along with members of Council, thanked youth volunteers for their contributions. Collectively, they have contributed over 6260 volunteer hours leaving a positive impact on thousands of children and the community. “The Town’s summer volunteers have been wonderful assets to the Town’s programs”, noted Mayor Bonnette “And in turn, I trust they have had a rewarding experience and gained skills, talents and strengths that will help them in their future endeavours; of course, it’s my hope that they will become lifelong volunteers and continue to give back to the community”, he added.
