This Wednesday we will have a Late Arrival Day. You can drop your child off between 7:30 and 9:45 on Late Arrival Days. Transportation will be running two hours behind normal time on Wednesday. We thank you for your cooperation!

Paid Preschool: Jac-Cen-Del Elementary is proud to offer a paid preschool for the 2018-2019 school year. Parents can pick up applications at the elementary office or on our school website. COME TO THE JCDE SPOTLIGHT!!! JCDE will be hosting a spotlight night on May 9th from 5:30-8:00. Come see the great things happening in our classrooms. We will have an art show, music programs provided by the 3rd and 4th grades, and our annual spring Book Fair. It will be a lot of fun. We will also have a drawing for students!

FIELD DAY: Field Day is next Monday. You may want to send sunscreen and a drink with your child. I also highly encourage that they were athletic shoes for Field Day.

Grandparents Day: Grandparents Day will be making a return to JCDE. We will have two Grandparent Day events this year. May 18th we will host grandparents for grades K, 1, 2, and 6th. May 22nd we will host grandparents for grades 3, 4, and 5. RSVP papers are going home with the students today. There are two different colors for the two different days.

Attention 5th grade parents: Nurse Kara sent home a letter giving information about updated immunizations for next year. We will be hosting a shot clinic for fifth graders on May 15th. If you have questions, please contact Nurse Kara.

Promise Indiana Surveys: Today your child will be bringing home a survey and an envelope for Promise Indiana. These surveys are completely anonymous. If you choose to fill out the survey, please return it to the school in the sealed envelope (the envelope with a number on it). When your child returns the envelope to the school they will receive a jolly rancher and be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card. One person from each grade will win a $25 gift card. If you have any questions, please contact Mr Rohrig.

Archery: Good luck to our archery teams on Thursday and Friday as they compete at the NASP Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. Archers shooting on Thursday will be able to be signed out from school at 11:00 am. Their siblings can be signed out on that day as well. On Friday, archers and their siblings will be excused form school since there are two flight times.
