Weekly Incident Summary October 10-16, 2016 HALTON HILLS, ON – Monday, October 10, 2016 16:30 Hours – Fire fighters responded to an alarm activation on Mountainview Rd N. On scene fire staff completed a 360 of the building, with no concerns found. 16:37 Hours – Fire fighters responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision in the area of Eighth Line and Steeles Avenue. On scene fire crews stabilized the vehicles and provided patient care until ambulance arrived. Fire staff applied absorbant to leaking fluids and cleared the scene. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 01:16 Hours – Fire fighters responded to an ambulance assist on Elizabeth Drive in Acton. Ambulance was on scene upon arrival. Fire staff assisted with gaining access to the building and cleared the scene. 12:24 Hours – Fire fighters responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Main St N in Acton. On scene fire staff applied absorbant to leaking fluids and cleared the scene. 19:34 Hours – Fire fighters responded to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in a parking lot on Steeles Avenue. Halton Regional Police and ambulance were on scene upon arrival. On scene fire staff were advised they were not required. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 23;23 Hours - Fire fighters responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Guelph St in Norval. On scene fire staff blocked the road and initiated patient care until ambulance arrived. Both vehicles were stabilized and fire crews applied absorbant to leaking fluids. Thursday, October 13, 2016 08:26 Hours - Fire fighters responded to an ambulance assist on Main St S. Staff was released from the scene upon arrival of ambulance staff. 11:13 Hours - Fire fighters responded to a three-vehicle motor vehicle collision in the area of Highway 7 and Trafalgar Road. On arrival staff disabled vehicles and cleared the scene once released by police. 12:14 Hours - Fire fighters responded to an elevator rescue on McFarlane Drive. Staff found persons trapped in stalled elevators. Occupants were removed from the elevators and locked out until arrival of elevator technicians.

Friday, October 14, 2016 18:10 Hours – Fire fighters responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision with no persons trapped or injured, in the intersection of Argyll & Mountainview Roads. Fire staff applied absorbant to leaking fluids and cleared the scene once ambulance and Halton Regional Police arrived. Sunday, October 16, 2016 07:01 Hours – Fire fighters responded to a carbon monoxide (CO) activation on Samuel Cres. On scene fire staff entered the home and using detectors found zero readings. The homeowner had multiple detectors in the home and only the one had activated. 15:20 Hours – Fire fighters responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on 15 Sideroad, west of Regional Road 25.. On scene fire staff disabled the vehicles and assisted with loading the patient onto the ambulance. 16:56 Hours – Fire fighters responded to an ambulance assist on 15 Sideroad. Ambulance was on scene upon arrival. Fire staff assisted with patient care and cleared the scene.
