DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 42-93 July 30, 1993 In the interest of the service and in pursuance of the mandated function of the Department of Finance to formulate policy guidelines geared towards the improvement/enhancement of the revenue generating powers of local government units and in order to maximize the capability of local (LGUs) treasury and assessment offices in developing strategies towards local fiscal autonomy, it is imperative for the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), in its capacity as the Department's link and supervisory arm on local fiscal of training pursue a series management, to programs/seminar-workshops on local treasury and assessment operations, more specifically on matters of local taxation, real property appraisal and assessment, revenue forecasting, and financial analysis.
