VisitHaltonHills.ca wins prestigious 2015 Marketing Canada Award HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town of Halton Hills is proud to announce it has received the Economic Developers Association of Canada’s (EDAC) “Marketing Canada” award for best website Visithaltonhills.ca and the marketing campaign that supported its launch. In partnership with the local Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Halton Hills developed the new website that is dedicated to tourism in Halton Hills. Visithaltonhills.ca was launched at the July 6 Council meeting. The award was presented to Town representative Danielle Edwards, Economic Development Coordinator during the Association's 47th National Conference on September 22. The new design was created to celebrate the local community. The website incorporates the community brand and invites visitors to “find their smile” in Halton Hills. Its design was also inspired following a review of some of the top rated destination and tourism websites. “Council is extremely thrilled that the tourism website has been recognized by EDAC for this national award. We invite you to visit Halton Hills to find your smile” says Mayor Bonnette. The Economic Development Association of Canada is Canada’s national association of economic development professionals, representing every province and territories across Canada. The awards program attracts submissions from across Canada and an outside adjudication committee reviews the submissions and selects the winners.
