DESCRIPTION: INDIAN LAND FIRE DEPARTMENT METAL BUILDING
Please note the following changes to the scope of work highlighted in yellow below:
II. Scope of Work Indian Land Fire Department: 185 Six Mile Creek Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720
Construct a 30’ x 40’ x 12’ building 1. (2) service doors 2. (2) 10x10 commercial garage doors 3. 4” concrete slab 30’x40’ fiber reinforced with poly and metal keyway for expansion joints 4. Concrete or asphalt apron from front of building to existing asphalt approx... 40’x16’ 5. 4’ wide concrete or asphalt walkway around the other three sides of the building 6. Placement of doors will be decided by Indian Land Fire Dept. 7. Walls and roof will have minimum 2” reinforced fiberglass insulation 8. The electrical will be 100 amp service (100 amp minimum) run from existing building approx... 140’ 9. Building will have florescent lighting and switches and receptacles will be installed to code and will have outside lighting over all three door
Bid Documents (submit in sealed envelop properly marked with bid title and solicitation number)
10. Two large ceiling fans will be installed for air circulation centered from the highest point of the building and a side wall exhaust fan with louvers for ventilation 11. Building will consist of 29 gauge 40 year metal and color will be determined by Indian Land Fire Dept. 12. Roof will be screwed and not nailed and be metal roofing 13. Building will have appropriate gutter and down spouts so water runs away from building 14. Building elevation will be set to keep rain runoff from existing parking lot from getting into new building. 15. All Drainage will be diverted towards existing drainage pond. 16. Building will have a 5 year workmanship warranty 17. Builder is responsible for pulling all permit costs All work will be performed and installed according to manufacturer specifications and will be inspected to Lancaster County Building codes.
