Scope:
REVISE to read: “Install new 8” combined fire waterline from curb side in Derby Street into Clark Kerr campus supplying buildings 16 and 17. Provide new fire hydrant as shown on Southwest Place. Provide all potholing, excavation, pipe installation, pressure tests, backfill and patch paving to existing conditions. Include an additional estimated 6’ length of 6” PVC, to be measured on plan, that extends the current fire waterline POC to the interior of Building 17. This added scope should include the additional length of underground trenching, and a new wall penetration, including flexible joints as specified on Wall Penetration Details on Sheet 3.0 – Detail Sheet”.

Drawing C2.0 – Plan Sheet Bidder Question: “Please reference key note 8 on C2.0. Note calls for 6” Fire Lateral Building Connection. Plan view shows 6” FW +/- 8LF from building. Please confirm if 6” FW is to be brought to interior of building 17 and then picked up by NIC interior sprinkler retrofit project by others.”
