Bidder Question: “Can the front desk be disassembled or moved to gain access to the baseboards”? No. The front desk will not be moved, please install new baseboard as close to the desk as possible. Bidder Question: “Will all existing carpet baseboards be replaced with new rubber baseboards”? Yes, replace existing carpet baseboards with rubber baseboards. Bidder Question: “Will stair threads need to be replaced”? Yes, replace with rubber nose cap, accent color to be determined at a later time by client. Bidder Question: “Will the bottom row of the bookshelves be cleared”? Books on the bottom bookshelves will be removed prior to the project. Contractor will have to remove bottom shelves to install new carpet. Bidder Question: “Can weekends and off-hours be worked”? Yes, with prior approval. Bidder Question: “What is the model number for the tile”? Carpet Spec: Shaw Contract – Prisma Tile 59463 – 63500 Opaque Black – Tile layout is same as mezzanine level – sample picture attached, 1 page, immediately hereinafter. Bidder Question: “Are there any drawings that are to scale”? See Drawings A2.21, Lower Furniture Plan – (For Reference Only), dated 03/11/11 – prepared by Noll & Tam, 1 page, attached immediately hereinafter.
