Bradford White Canada Opens New Facility in Halton Hills HALTON HILLS, ON – Bradford White Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of Bradford White Corporation, celebrated the opening of their new building and their 15th anniversary in Canada on August 29, 2017. The new building located on Brigden Gate in the Halton Hills Premier Gateway is a state-of-the-art 75,000 sq. ft. distribution and training facility. Bradford White manufactures water heaters, boilers, tanks and ondemand hot water systems. “We are very pleased that Bradford White chose Halton Hills for their new location.” said Mayor Bonnette. “The company joins a growing list of businesses that are locating in the Premier Gateway due to its strategic location, easy access to major transportation networks and proximity to the GTA and US markets. With this investment, Bradford White has made an important contribution to the economic prosperity of Halton Hills. In the last 18 months, almost 3 million square feet of new buildings have been constructed providing employment opportunities for residents.” The new facility is double the size of Bradford White’s former property. The larger facility will allow for further expansion of the business. The building is a modern energy efficient warehouse, and features service areas, dedicated training space for clients, a walk-in service desk, in-floor heating, plug-ins for electric vehicles and electric tow motors to improve indoor air quality. The company implemented the Town’s Green Energy Standards which maximize the benefits, efficiency and performance of new development, and are part of the Town’s sustainability leadership. “When a customer calls Bradford White Canada, our goal is to be able to say, we have it in stock, where would you like it shipped?”, said Paul McDonald, General Manager of Bradford White Canada. “Our growth in this market and our need to provide more services to our customers made the move to the new facility more than a necessity. It was an obligation”. The Halton Hills Premier Gateway is the Town’s strategic employment area, offering easy access to major markets, highway connections, stable work force and full services.
