Cardington-Lincoln Local Schools Board of Education Regular Meeting December 11, 2017∙ 6:00 p.m. ∙ Board Office Meeting Room The roll was called with the following members present: Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Davis, Mr. Jones, Mr. Meyers, Mr. Ruehrmund. Administrators in attendance: Mr. Petrie, Superintendent; Mr. Mason, Treasurer; Mr. Hardwick, Elementary Principal; Mrs. Zierden, 5-8 Principal; Mr. Mills, High School Principal. The Board recognizes staff and visitors in attendance: Quin Maceyko, Angela Curren, Debbie Hart. Resolution 178-17 Approve Meeting Minutes Mrs. Davis moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to approve the November 13, 2017 meeting minutes as presented. Yeas: Davis, Jones, Meyers, Ruehrmund. Motion carried. Resolution 179-17 Approve Agenda Mrs. Davis moved, seconded by Mr. Meyers to approve the Agenda as presented. Yeas: Davis, Jones, Meyers, Ruehrmund. Motion carried. Resolution 180-17 Recognize Cardington-Lincoln Education Foundation Mr. Jones moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to recognize the Cardington-Lincoln Education Foundation with their role and coordination with the success of the Holiday Bazaar. Yeas: Davis, Jones, Meyers, Ruehrmund. Motion carried. Resolution 181-17 Approve Donations to the District Mr. Jones moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to recognize and approve the list of donations to the district. 1. Donation from the ECHO Center, in the amount of $550 for 92 students to attend a field trip 2. Donation from Costco of 510 backpacks for PreK-4th grade students for the 2018-2019 school year 3. $500 Donation from the Saint Paul Lutheran Church to be applied to student lunch accounts/charges 4. Donation from the Cardington Vo-Ag Association in the amount of $3505 for student FFA jackets 5. Scholarship Donation from Ron Joan for the “Karlotta Kay Joan Scholarship” in the amount of $1,000 6. Donation of $125 from FCBank to the FFA 7. Donation from the Cardington-Lincoln Education Foundation in the amount of $880.00 to Pre-K through 8th grade classrooms Yeas: Davis, Jones, Meyers, Ruehrmund. Motion carried.
