In.the PNM meeting held betweenNFIR and Railway Board on 19ft/20s May 20l6,the Official Side stated that so far as Westem Railway is concerned, the matter has been taken up with the Western Railway, yhyse reply is still awaited. .
h this connection, NFIR invites kind attention of the Board to Federation'sletter of even number 2210712016(copy enclosed) wherein it has been mentioned that Western Railway has sent reply to the Railway Board (EDEA{) vide letter No. CP/ADlM/Restructuringl20l,3dated,2710612016.The Westem Railway in reply has also suggestedfor merger of Head Cashier Counter (GP 4200) with Asstt. Divisional Cashier (Cash) GP 4200 from the year 2007 for the purpose of implementation of cadre restructuring of CashierSupervisory(Receipt Side)- financial implications being 'NIL'. i NFIR, therefore, once again requests the Railway Board to consider points brought out through Federation's letter and issue instructions to the General Manager, Western Railway to grant cadre restructuring to the staff working as Cashier Supervisory (Receipt Side). Incidentally, it is mentioned that these staff have been deprived of the benefit of restructuring for more than three decades. A copy of instructionsissuedmay be endorsedto the Federation.
