The issue of non-implementation of cadre resfucturing on Western Railway among the Cashiers (Supervisory)Receipt Side was raisedby the Federationin August 2014 andhas beenpending sincethen in Board's Office. In the meantime,NFIR vide agendaitem No. 29 (sent to the Board on L011212015) to be discussedin the ensuing PNM. meeting rlut"d for 19ft/I0m May 2016, suggestedmerger of the posts of Head Cashier (GP 42001-) with the Asstt. Divisional Cashier (GP 4200/-) with retrospectiveeffect, similar to the decision taken vide Board's letterNo. E(NG)I-20041PM912daIed27l0712007[inrespect of Cashiers(Supervisory)PaymentSide]. '

Federationhas come to know that the proposal of NFIR containedin its agendaitem has sincebeen sentby the Pay CommissionDirectorateto the EstablishmentDirectorate of the Board for examinationand issuingnecessary instructionsto renderjustice to the staff. Incidentally, it is mentionedthat the benefit of cadrerestructuringhas not been extendedto the Cashiers(Supervisory)* Receipt Side on Westem Railway, therefore,there is merit mergerof Head Cashier(GP 4200/-) with the Asstt. Divisional Cashier(GP 42001-\to avoid discrimination. NFIR, therefore, once again requeststhe Railway Board to issue suitable instructionsbasedon the points mentioned above to the Western Railway in particulars and other zonal railways in general so that the Cashiers (Supervisory)- Receipt Side may get the benefit of cadrerestructuringw.e.f.0llLIl2013.
