The Greenfield Township Zoning Board met Thursday, February 25, 2010, 7pm at the Greenfield Township Firehouse, 3245 Havensport Road, Carroll, Ohio. Those present were Chairman Bob Paulus, Board members Larry Swartz, Jim Beiter, Brian Flynn, Zoning Secretary Leonard Lewis, Bette Bowers and Trustee John Reef. Bob Paulus called the meeting to order and led the pledge. Jim Beiter moved to accept the December 15, 2009 minutes, seconded by Larry Swartz. There was no Zoning Permits report for January as there was no activity. Leonard Lewis gave the Board members the Hearing policy to sign. Trustee Reef explained the policy and why it was needed. The members present signed the policy and returned to Leonard. Bob Paulus, Jim Beiter, and Larry Swartz indicated a desire to attend zoning training presented by the Fairfield County regional Planning Commission in March. It was asked if they would be paid to attend. Leonard Lewis will ask the trustees. There was some discussion regarding updating the zoning book and who is responsible for keeping it updated. Bette is currently working on updating the book. Larry Swartz asked if the trustees will pay for zoning maps for the Zoning Board members. He called the map room at the county and the price is $11.00 (eleven dollars) each. Leonard Lewis will ask the trustees. There was discussion regarding the need for monthly meetings, even if there were no agenda items. Leonard will discuss with trustees. Jim Beiter moved to adjourn seconded by Brian Flynn.
